Increase in Marriages in the United States Predicted for Next Several Years
According to an article in the USA Today on June 18th, the number of marriages in the United States fell 5% since the recession in 2007. Living together and unemployment were cited as the two primary reasons marriages fell to an historic low in 2011. The good news? Pent up demand and the so-called “Millennials” will fuel weddings for the next couple years.
