Experience Matters: Over 160 Combined Years Of Legal Insight
Biography
Curtis Rawlings grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from Bonanza High School, served a two-year mission for his church in Washington D.C./Maryland, attained his undergraduate degree in English Literature from B.Y.U., and secured his law degree from Gonzaga University. Mr. Rawlings has practiced primarily in the areas of personal injury and family law since being licensed in 1998. He has worked both as a personal injury attorney aggressively pursuing the highest level of compensation for his clients while, at the same time, acting as a personal injury defense attorney to secure fair results given the facts of a particular accident and the injuries involved. Working both sides of personal injury cases for 25 years has provided Mr. Rawlings the unique perspective and skill to effectively value a case, assess a realistic outcome, and pursue that outcome in an effective manner whether that means settlement negotiations, binding arbitration, mediation, bench trials, or jury trials. Mr. Rawlings has also acted as an arbitrator in the Clark County District Court annexed arbitration program which provides the additional insight of reviewing dozens of cases, assessing attorney’s arguments on both sides, weighing the merits, and deciding outcomes. If you have been injured due to someone else’s negligence, Mr. Rawlings has the knowledge, experience, and skill to exploit every fact to maximize results and achieve the highest and fairest outcome possible.
Mr. Rawlings has handled complex personal injury cases involving nearly every injury and loss including traumatic brain injuries, severe spinal injuries, psychological injuries such as PTSD, loss of earning capacity and lost wages, claims for future medical treatments and damages, loss of consortium, negligent infliction of emotional distress, etc. He possesses the ability and the experience to take a case through a jury trial.
Mr. Rawlings has also represented hundreds of clients in various family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, relocation, termination of parental rights, adoption, domestic violence, paternity, post-divorce custody modifications, appeals, and the drafting of prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.
