On December 3, 2015, Pecos Law Group’s Bruce Shapiro will serve as the moderator the State Bar of Nevada’s Annual Advanced Family Law CLE. Ishi Kunin and Elyse Tyrell will discuss “Guardianship and Long Term Care Planning.” Radford Smith will talk about “Technology in The Family Law Office.” Following up on her well received presentation last year, Margaret Pickard will discuss “Parallel Parenting.”
Dan Marks, making his first appearance at the annual event will present on “Ethical Issues in Family Law.” Ed Ewert, also making his first appearance, will talk about Interstate Child Support Issues. Marshal Willick will discuss “Partition Actions in Nevada: What Every Nevada Divorce Lawyer Needs to Know.” Ed Kainen for offer tips for “Effective Cross Examinations.” Tom Standish will present on “Real Estate Issues and Malpractice Traps in Divorce.”
Also presenting, will be Supreme Court JusticesNancy Saitta and Kristina Pickering and Family Court Judges Cheryl Moss, Mathew Harter, Bill Henderson and Hon. Linda Marquis. Jim Jimmerson will join some of the judges in discussing the much anticipated “District Court Jurisdiction After A Notice of Appeal.”
The program, to be held at the new State Bar office in Las Vegas, offers seven CLE credits, including one ethics. The program also includes lunch. This program should not be confused with the out of state sponsored program in November.
